TOOL, WHERE ARE THEY?

DANNY is currently at the WINTER X-GAMES in Aspen, CO., partying with the OAKLEY folks and hopefully not participating in too many snow ski/boarding activities. ADAM may be back from Europe (if, in fact, he was ever in Europe), but I’m really not sure, and may not know until the next Lakers home game. I saw JUSTIN for a few minutes a couple of weeks ago, so I know that he’s back from Europe, but what he’s doing at the moment, I haven’t a ghost of a notion. MAYNARD is in all likelihood either here in Los Angeles or in Arizona, getting ready for the “BLOOD INTO WINE” screenings and the upcoming PUSCIFER extravaganza. And that’s my best guess. If I hear of anything going on at the loft (i.e. new musical arrangements), I’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime…

Although the first 156 copies containing the leaf removed from a 1922 British first edition of Crowley’s “The Diary of a Drug Fiend” have been purchased, there are still copies available that are individually NUMBERED and SIGNED by the author and by DANNY CAREY (who wrote the book’s foreword, and whose bibliophilic exploits are featured throughout, along with glossy photographs of Crowley rarities from his collection).

Danny and I are also planning to have a book launching party at the SilverLake Cha Cha Lounge (L.A.) sometime in February (TBA). For the occasion we’ll be inscribing copies purchased, and mixing up cocktails taken from drink recipes printed in some of Crowley’s more obscure works. For anyone who might be having problems ordering the book, once you are in the store, simply click on “MEDIA” for the book’s description and an order form. Danny and I would like to thank those who have already ordered a copy, and look forward to seeing those who attend the upcoming launch at the Cha Cha Lounge (again, TBA).
