Tool enthusiasts will be familiar with Adam’s other artistic endeavours, bur what they might not know is that he has recently been studying oil painting from artist PHIL HALE (one of Adam’s favorite painters) and is now expressing himself in that medium. In fact, a new original oil painting by Adam will be on display (AND FOR SALE) at the ALTERNATIVE PRESS 25TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION hosted by the SLOAN FINE ART GALLERY in NEW YORK CITY. The special 3 DAY show will be held between THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21 – SATURDAY, OCYOBER 23rd from NOON – 6PM. Those who are interested in purchasing Adam’s piece should contact the gallery.

A STRAY EYELASH (OR THREE) COULDN’T HURT

For those of you hoping for some solo tour dates to be announced, all I can say at this point is to keep checking the website (While you’re at it, you might want to gather some crocodile teeth, or whatever Aussies use for good luck – I know it’s not 4-leaf clovers). I’m aware that a 2ND SYDNEY BDO show has been listed elsewhere, though I haven’t yet been given any confirmation? Which seems a bit odd. Oh, well, I suppose stranger things have happened. In other NEWS (you did meditate on the above caption, didn’t you?) we’re currently working on plans for a WEB CAM to be strategically positioned at DANNY’s HALLOWEEN PARTY. If things go according to plan, I expect it to show beings from beyond our galactic sector (along with mantoids, ulterrans, dragonworms, Quisp-spawn, and maybe even some of those hideous Salahi things). Fittingly, if I can find a delta-winged pre-Columbian artifact pendant (and the right black wig), I’m planning on going as Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, with LaraLee as the Venusian Omnec Onec (circa 1970s, of course). Once decisions are made (Moon-pies for Moon-eyes?) and details confirmed, I’ll post additional info.
