Nice, Ill have to check that one out. I have been into the Sessions IPA and the Lagunitas IPA.
Right on, I've had the Lagunitas IPA thought it was pretty good, it was sold here *canada. Been a while since I bought any beer out of the US though.
Living in Kalamazoo, MI, I feel a bit spoiled heading to Bell's & Founders for firkins on the reg. Smoked Bell's Two Hearted is my new favorite. Lagunitas is great though. They have Two Hearted on draft at the venue Tool's playing next week in Detroit.
Two hearts is nice, ya you are spoiled! haha last time I was in Michigan I got a 6 of it on a recommendation from an experimenting brewer friend of mine. I still remember the day going across too, when ask why I was going into Michigan, I replied "oh to go to the beer store that sold micro beers" and the customs guy reacted in a way i've never seen before, he was actually enthusiastically curious. It was quite different from back in the day when I'd get asked, "When was the last time you were in jail?" or "When was the last time you were in court?" LOL and neither of those have happened…yet.
Regarding Detroit, man that must be nice. Had the potential option of Detriot or Hamilton. Decided Hamilton, but the nice thing is that Collective Arts Brewery is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel so that's good enough, and a treat all in to itself.
Nice! I had my first Bell's this year at a dive bar outside the sprint center in Kansas City. Great beer. Btw if you're ever going to a show there, Zoo Bar is the perfect place to get ready. Had a blast at Radiohead.
